What To Do When You Are Sunburned

Women's Healt
Even if you tan well, there is likely at least one time throughout the tanning season that you will get burned. Perhaps it will be the first time you get out in the sun or it may be the time that you simply forget to lather on any moisturizing tanning lotion.

No matter if you are fair or dark, you will need to know how to deal with a bad sunburn. Check out these great remedies that can help you get through the pain and on to the tanning.

The best thing you can do for a sun burn is stay out of the sun until it heals. If you must go back in the sun, be sure to wear tons of sunscreen and clothes that cover the areas of the burn. In addition to this however, you should first lather on plenty of aloe based gel onto your sunburned areas. You can get this green gel in most drug stores. You can also use a large aloe plant to get your own gel out and use the most natural forms of the plant.

Another great way to treat a sun burn is with vinegar. Your grandmother likely did this to you when you were a child in fact. You can rub white cooking vinegar onto your reddened skin and leave it overnight. Of course this method does not smell the best, so doing it at night and then showering the next morning is often the best idea.

Remember, no one likes to get sunburned, so try your best to avoid it. Healing can be quite a process and might not leave you feeling all that comfortable either!
